Bertan and Hazar’s American-Sudanese-German wedding brought families from around the world together at Hudson Bend Ranch. The celebration featured both a Western ceremony and a traditional Sudanese Jertik, honoring Hazar’s cultural heritage with ancient rituals, music, and symbolic gestures. Dressed in traditional Sudanese attire, the couple shared meaningful moments from blessings by their mothers and grandmothers to and dancing the night away.
